Apple on Monday released iPhone software 2.0.1, an update to the original software released with the iPhone 3G. The update contains various bug fixes and is available for download through iTunes.
Not much information is offered beyond Apple’s ridiculously lame “bug fixes” description but I’m sure that details will start to trickle out soon.
At this time the 249MB update is only available by connecting the iPhone to your computer and downloading through iTunes. iTunes will then prompt you to install the software and take care of the update procedure.
